The Duo Flying Tree often draws inspiration for their original compositions from the endless source of ideas found in nature.
Although the music has influences from European classical music, jazz, oriental music, etc., a unique sound language emerges naturally, which is continually deepened in the course of the ongoing artistic collaboration between the two duo partners.
The duo has released two albums and several music videos to date. Just as in the duo’s compositions, improvisation played a key role during filming, resulting in surprising scenes that arose spontaneously in the moment.

Filming for the music film "Die Reise des Wassers" took place in Dresden and Cuxhaven in June and July 2022. It was an inspiring and exciting collaboration with the brilliant director and cinematographer Eckart Reichl (Atelier Reichl). Our own script, born out of the music, took us to wonderful places and allowed us to experience the magic of the moment in nature through the camera lens. In an artistic flow, we were carried and guided by the element of water during the intense filming.

Our first music video, "Music in the air", was created in a single day, inspired by a spontaneous moment. Everyone involved was fascinated by how elements, nature, and inspiration worked together to create this video in an improvised flow.
